The importance of eating with the season!

Over the years we have learned not only the importance of listening to our bodies, but also eating with the seasons. What does that mean? This means that our bodies are receiving the highest level of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants when we choose foods that have been grown, picked, and eaten within that season. We can all attest to the amazingness of a freshly picked fruit or vegetable! We also know that our bodies crave warmer things in the winter and cooler in the summer. Our bodies are designed to heal themselves and providing the best optimum environment for this to happen is our job. Eating organically grown foods within the growing season is the best place to start.

Eating seasonally also means choosing locally whenever possible. Getting to know where your food comes from is important. When we support our local farmers, we are supporting our community. We are also doing our part to protect the environment due to transportation. It's a win-win!

As we transition into Fall you will notice seasonal changes with our menu at Vibe Well. Your health and the environment are extremely important to us, and we will always strive to do our part! We encourage you to be adventurous, tune into your body, and appreciate the beauty and bounty of the nature around us.
