Please join us on June 17th from 6:00-7:30 for a guided practice with the Crim Mindfulness Team and to learn more about how you can support their programming. The Crim Mindfulness Initiative supports individuals to develop stress resilience, grow as leaders, and increase well-being through the daily practice of mindfulness. Crim collaborates with partners to create conditions for all Flint residents to thrive by providing evidence-based, trauma-informed mindfulness trainings, events, and programs.
Join us for a personal reading of Dash’s Week by the author Nicole MacDonald! Nicole is from Fenton, Michigan. She is a former teacher who has taught kindergarten through second grade. While teaching, her favorite part of the day was reading to her students. She has been married to her husband, John, since 2002. They have one beautiful daughter, Allie, and two toy poodles, Dash and Penny. Dash was her inspiration for this story. Reading will begin at 11:00 am, followed by a book signing.
Essential oils are an incredible asset to every mother with children, especially those with babies and toddlers, and using oils safely is key to making them work for your family. This oils class will teach you the ins and outs of using essential oils with your little ones, and an essential oil remedy list for all the ups and downs of motherhood. Each guest will leave with their very own sleepy cream to help those little ones drift off to sleep easier and stay asleep longer!
